Release notes

Product updates for teams using the Regulatory Terminal.

Release 2026.08.18

2026-08-18

The Regulatory Terminal answers licensing and market-entry questions for compliance, operations and product teams. It resolves them against a sourced graph of regimes, permissions, passporting and licence holders, and shows the evidence behind every value, so a decision about where to expand can be checked rather than taken on trust.

What's new

  • Home and Ask are unified into one experience.
  • Model and effort picker is available directly in the ask launcher.
  • Ask and Artifact columns are now resizable, defaulting to a 50/50 split.
  • Settled questions and answers are logged server-side for product learning.
  • Release notes are now available in-app at /release-notes.

Who this is for

  • Compliance and legal teams checking licence scope and obligations.
  • Product managers evaluating new market launches.
  • Operations teams triaging missing-data requests.

Authentication and access

Sign-in uses Lark. User identity is used for attribution and user-scoped data. Depending on deployment configuration, Lark auth can be enforced for protected views.

What's left (coming next)

  • Dedicated analytics view for top asked questions and repeated gaps.
  • Persist per-user pane width preferences across sessions.
  • Stronger source refresh automation for stale references.
  • Expanded legal coverage in markets with currently missing provisions.

Need this implemented in your product?

I turn requirements like these into flows, vendor setups, tests and audit evidence.
